Oklahoma, baby

I was up at 5 a.m. to head over the Oklahoma Training Track.  It was 37 degrees and when the outrider unchained the rope for horses to train on the dirt, there was nobody around.  No horses.  
Only a few trainers have horses up here with Gary Contessa leading the contingent with about 40 of the 50 or so on the grounds.   There will eventually be close to 800 horses parading around Saratoga, but until then all we can do is enjoy the dawn before rush hour.

Is there a spectator area at the Oklaholma track?

There is no spectator area for non-credentialed persons, but during the meet they run tours on the backside. Or at least I think they do.
