School

Poor girl.  Children around the country are done with school for the summer but look at Rachel Alexandra.  Here she is getting schooled in the paddock at Belmont Park ... and she's only three! 

Maybe she better resembles the Japanese work ethic and commitment to chores and studies.  If that is the case, she will undoubtedly possess greater intelligence than her American counterparts and will engineer a far better automobile.

All this is why she will win the Grade 1 Mother Goose.  Speak nothing of her superior speed.

On Saturday, she will look like a finely tuned Toyota running against a bunch of 1986 Ford Escorts. Except for the promising filly Flashing, who may look like a 1989 Ford Escort, whose owner got the oil changed every 3,000 miles...or close to it at least...sometimes it's hard to get it done...life can get it in the way, what with the kids, and the economy, and those damn long lines at the post office....sometimes I just want to scream out and destroy random objects....but that's my problem, i'll handle it....enjoy the race!
